This all-inclusive, cell-based assay system uses proprietary engineered cells expressing full-length, unmodified Human Mineralocorticoid Receptor (NR3C2). It includes a luciferase reporter gene linked to an MR-responsive promoter for quantifying MR activity, providing MR Reporter Cells, optimized media, Aldosterone, Luciferase Detection Reagent, and an assay plate.

Enzo Life Sciences’ GFP-CERTIFIED FLUOFORTE Calcium Assay Kit (high-throughput) provides a homogeneous fluorescence-based assay for detecting intracellular calcium mobilization across a broad spectrum of biological targets. Relative to other commercially available dyes, the GFP-CERTIFIED FLUOFORTE dye is the brightest and most sensitive fluorescent calcium indicator. The kit provides a homogeneous mix-and-read, no-wash calcium mobilization assay. The homogenous cell-based assay for calcium offers fewer steps, lower variability and an easier protocol for adherent and non-adherent cell lines. In addition, it requires neither a washing step, nor exogenous addition of a quencher dye, which could adversely effect receptor-ligand interaction kinetics. The assay utilizes bioluminescent detection of the ATP level for a rapid screening of apoptosis and cell proliferation simultaneously in mammalian cells. The assay utilizes the enzyme luciferase to catalyze the formation of light from ATP and luciferin. The light can be measured using a luminometer or Beta Counter. The assay can be fully automatic for high throughput (10 seconds/sample) and is highly sensitive (detects 10-100 mammalian cells/well). Applications: Chemiluminescence .
